connection lost

    I have a web server with smtp relay to my exchange server 2000.
    I am getting this type of error:
    smtpsvc
    none
    4006
    Message delivery to the host '64.4.50.239' failed while delivering to the remote domain 'hotmail.com' for the following reason: the connectin was dropped by the remote host.

    any ideas?

    Have you tried just bouncing the service?

    net stop smtpsvc
    net start smtpsvc

    Is there only the one ISP that is giving you problems?

    stopped and started the service, same problem.

    Only 1 IP address
