I just bought a new computer, and I'd like to use the new one and the one I'm using now with the same cable modem, so I can access the internet on either machine.

Will this cause a problem with my ISP? If it's not a problem, do I need to get one of those routers? Thanks

    Breakout,

This will not cause a problem with your ISP and, yes, you will need a router. I use a LinkSys BEFSR41 and it works great. You will also need CAT5, or higher, cable to run to both systems.
