    Connecting a NetComm adsl2+ NB5Plus4W router into a 10/100 wired network.

I have a Network with a reliable 10/100 wired router which accesses the Net via a Motorola SB4100 cable modem.

I wish to add wireless capability to the network.

A friend suggested adding the NetComm NB5Plus4W router.

Under my current configuration, the ADSL modem would be redundant.

Has any one any other "best" suggestions for a conversions, which is essentially to expand a wired network, to a combinded wired/wireless network, with VOIP point as a bonus.

    cheers

Go out and get a wireless access point device and hook it to any port on the router via a cat5 cable. Shy away from using the adsl modem-wireless. Linksys makes a couple of access point devices. These devices are just an access point w/ no switch, no router, etc.

Or you could switch completely to a wireless router that also has wired ports.
