I have setup Windows Small Business Server 2003 (including exchange).

I can connect to the exchange webmail system and or remote desktop connection from within the network.

However, how can I connect to the server/exchange from an external internet connection, if I have a dynamic IP address.

Also, the router is acting as the dhcp so ther server itself only has an internal IP address (192.168.0.xx).

    Thanks

    Francis

The first think I would do is see if you can get a static IP address from your ISP.

To connect to your system from an outside connection you will need to know what IP address you have from your ISP. Depending on your router, you might find the information in its configuration. You can also google "what's my ip address" and you should be able to find out.

Next you will need to configure your router so that it will forward requests from outside connections to your inside IP addresses.
