conecting printer

    :confused: hi i'm fairly new to p.c. stuff and i have down loaded windows 98 second edition i have a program that needs a printer conected to run but when i try to add a printer it keeps asking for the cd as it was downloaded from net i dont have it how can i remedy this could someone please help me:D

    Welcome to the board! If you downloaded the software for the printer then you should be able to go to that folder when asked for the CD. At that time, you should get an option to browse for the file, just pick out the folder and 98 should do the rest.
