Hi Dave. How many beeps do you get when you boot up the machine?

Have you tried connecting just the monitor, keyboard and power cables and booting the computer?

If the motherboard uses integrated video, see if connecting to the integrated VGA port helps.

Do the system fans spin? Do you see anything on the monitor?

As Even suggested, list the number & sequence of beeps (for example: long - long - short).

You should also re-seat all components & check all connections. Good chance something came loose during move.

    On boot up Bios says
    Unsupported video configuration detected

it saysto reattach the cable monitor to the video connector.

Not certain how it was disconnected, someone did fast due to flood...

Now I have HDMI cable out of video card to monitor, power cables are on...
    what else?

Great. Glad changing from the HDMI cable to DVI solved the issue. :)
