Hello, this is my first post here, and I'm really quite new to computers, but not completely confused by them. I have a problem with my PC, two actually. the first one is that my Recycle Bin has several files in it, which I had no idea were on my computer never mind deleted by me, and some other random files, could this be a virus of some sort?. Also I got this message, it has runit on it thats all I know what is this, and one last thing, youtube won't work on my PC, it did, but now I have to refresh pages to get youtube videos to work, can you enlighten me?.

Hi and welcome to the BBS,

I can see two freeware programs called Runit. One spells it RunIt!, the other RUNit:
    http://runit.en.softonic.com/
    http://www.onlythebestfreeware.com/program.asp?program_id=33
The first looks like it has the ability to delete "unnecessary" files, it is not listed as running on Vista though.

On a quick websearch, I can't see that that term is related to malware. If you have installed any programs, it may have been installed as a "added extra ". Go to Start(orb) -> Computer, open the C: drive and type Runit in the search box, see if there are files and folders associated with it. If there are, find a way to uninstall the program, don't just delete the files (look in Control Panel -> Programs).

    Matt
