Hi... My disc has just been reformatted, it went absolutely haywire after the end of my first year, but afterwards the computer was running ok.

Now, when I switch my computer on, it loads up fine, but then freezes and does nothing after about a minute of me logging in and everything loading up.

I am not connected to the internet on that computer at the moment... Does anyone have any advice? All I can do with it is hold the off button and switch it off, and this freezing happens every time.

I can start it in safe mode, but it freezes just the same as in normal mode after a couple of minutes.

That suggests that it is unlikely to be a driver problem as only basic Windows drivers are loaded in Safe mode.

Freezing within a minute of login does not give much opportunity for troubleshooting.

It may be a hardware problem - can you fll in a little more detail on
    haywire in what way?
