I recently took my computer to the repair shop and had them install a 6Gb hard drive as a slave I had taken from my second computer. My 20Gb is master. It’s a long story why I took it to the shop, usually I would play with this and do it myself. Anyway, my problem is now that I have transferred everything I want over to the slave drive and try to backup the master, the computer freezes every time, I need to pull the plug to recover. I have been doing my backups for about a year this way without a any problems until now.
Could the problem be that my master is Fat32 and when they installed the slave they set it up as NTSF?
Other then my backup everything else seems fine.

    Windows XP Home (upgrade)
    20GB master drive partitioned 15Gb "C" and 5Gb "Dâ€
    Sony CD-RW

    Thanks for your help.
