Computer freezes after installing Internet Explorer 9

    I have noticed my computer occasionally freezes. The cpu usage is not high but the system seems freezes and it automatically gets solved after few minutes. I am quite sure this is happening just after I installed Internet Explorer along with some updates from Microsoft. I have just uninstalled IE9 and some other recently installed updates. Til now, I am not seeing any problem. But the system can freeze anytime later. Do you have any suggestion ? I don't use any antivirus software but I think I don't have any virus.

    That is utter madness - a high likely hood that you are infected although that may not be the cause of the freezing.

    Do yourself a favour and install a free antivirus - I would strongly recommend Microsoft Security Essentials - alternatives are Avast or Avira.

    Remember most of the products that you receive or purchase from Microsoft can be said to beta releases that you as a guinea pig working for free
