    I have a Dell Latitude E 6410. Intel Core i5 CPU M520 @2.40GHz 4.00GB, 64 bit OS, Windows 7 Pro SP 1.

After resetting my (Linksys) router this computer will not connect. The Linksys network is listed as a connection point. When I attempt to connect, the blue light circles itself in the tray, but never connects. In control panel, Intel Pro Set/Wireless Tools Diagnosis Tests, the association test failed. The summary said NOT Associated.

I unplugged my router and internet service wire that looks like a phone connector. After plugging it back in, there was no change.

I don't know what else to do. Thank you for any help you're able to give.

Thanks, Tony. I have restarted the computer several times. I just did it again to be sure it would not solve the problem. Upon starting the blue light in the tray over the connected icon twirls and turns to a yellow sun over the icon. I should have added that to the post when I spoke of turning off the modem and router. After restarting them I restarted the computer. Thanks

I resolved this problem by resetting the router, just using the reset button rather than the disc that came with the Linksys router. All devices, computers, and ipads connected easily.
