COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES for HP

    Can anyone tell me why there are less expensive compatible ink cartridges made for all the major brands except HP?

    csnudelman --I believe Office Max offers NCR brand cartridges for HP printers. Also you can get "remanufactured" HP cartridges (with a new fill of ink) at
    http://www.store.yahoo.com/lmcomp/index.html
    among other places.

    I've been using compatible cartridges for over a year now in the following printers: Epson Stylus Color 500, 800, 880 and C80.
    Very happy with results.

    Buying them from www.123inkjets.com and www.babyeco.com.
