I have a friend who is having trouble with a dialog box coming up everytime he boots up. The message reads "Signing into communications service failed because the service is temporarily unavailable please try again later." I think it may have something to do with Windows Messenger, but everything we tried to change in it made no difference. Any ideas???

In Windows Messenger > Tools > Options > Accounts uncheck "My Contacts include users of a communications service" and make sure that .NET Passport is the only thing checked in the "Sign in with this account first" area.

That is what I told him to do first, and he wrote back and said it didn't help. I still think that is what it is though...thanks:)
