Mozilla & ns7 overwrites bookmarks.html on exit, so sharing bookmarks file may cause problem, including the loss of all bookmarks, if opened in two instances at the same time.

    update to www.mozilla.org/docs/command-line-args.html

Why does Mozilla put profiles in the c:\windows directory? (Windows)

    http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/ns7moveprof.html

In Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows ME, program data by default are stored in a Application Data directory in the Windows install directory. This is an unfortunate choice on Microsoft’s part, and mozilla.org merely follows Microsoft’s guidelines as do many software vendors like Microsoft, Corel, and Adobe.

If you do not like the default profile location, you can choose a custom directory when you create your profile. You can also move your existing profile to a new location. Note you still may not move the profile registry file (registry.dat).

You can also change the system’s application data location by editing the Windows registry so Mozilla and other software don’t put your personal data in the Windows install directory. Editing registry is dangerous, so do not try if you don’t already know how to do it. To change the location, edit the AppData registry keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

    dwx,
I think you should send a private message to Ramona directly about her pages.

However, I don't agree with some of your suggestions. Not all Mozilla commands/methods work on Netscape. And that is Netscape Solution Pages, not Mozilla Solution Pages.
