COM1 error effecting standby...

    I am getting a device driver error on Com1 preventing my laptop from going into standby (which it did well since day 1). I don't have anything other than my modem plugged into it and have tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it w/o a change. I have done nothing other than perform the automatic windows updates as they pop up.

    In fact it is loaded, but I don't use it. Will try deleting it.
