com port

    i have installed an application on server, after that the com port of that server seems to be locked by the application ( it sessm so) , now how can i check the com port , does it work or not, how is the situation of it when the application starts to work? is there any other program for testing and checking the com port?

    well actually it is an application for automation, the problem is that 2 computer are connected 2 eachother by com2, and they should communicate with each other, computer 1 request something from computer 2, but i don't know whenther the computer 2 get the request or not? how can i be sute that computer 2 get the request?
