Collection of software scans.

Hey, I was looking over this web site, and was wondering something. I wondered, how come there isn't a substantial list of online, downloadable, and company supported, scans/forums/etc. So, I decided to start a thread intended to get everyone whom may know of a legit site for such support. If you know of a site, then please don't hesitate to post a link to it here. If anyone see's a link to a site that may cause a user to have problems. Such as a false site, or possibly viruses attached to that which would be indicated by a user to download, then post that too, (basically, a review).

There, after quite a few, (a lot), of legit. links are posted, I would like for this thread to be stickied. But only after a substancial list has been compiled.

Well, if you know of any, then start posting.

I did not mean to have a thread that states "go here for help" from a web site that already does that. More like, "go here, your problem is exactly/very similiar to this one, that has been resolved ". As for scans, and other helpful things out on the net, (downloadable or not), for those to be listed. I did not intend to make a thread for people to be directed to another site for all their help. But rather, links to things out on the net, that will help others with their problems, which may have already happened to someone else. Yes, the recommended links is a very good start. However, I do not expect the staff of this site to have been to, or know, of all of the helpful sites on the net.

Oh, and in a way, this will help me with my current problem. By viewing other methods that I have yet to try, I can attempt those that other people know to work for a specific problem.

 

If anyone knows of any sites that may help others, that are not indicated in the recommended list, please post a link to the site which may be of help to pc users.

In addition, please include your thoughts on the link you provide.

 

Forsaken, if you're experiencing a specific problem post what that problem is in the appropriate forum.

Here at WindowsBBS there are any number of heavily experienced members who can offer advice.

Second to that, Google is your best resource for finding fixes on a ton of errors and glitches. Trying to get a list of sites where users have been fixed up on some problem, well, that's pretty much what Google search does for you.

 

..............................., O.k., I just thought it was a good idea at the time, but if no one agrees, then I'll drop the purpose of this thread I started. I've made threads in other category's of this site, and am getting assistance in them. If you want, review what I have posted in the threads I have started here on this site. I've only started four, including this one.

Oh, and by the way, I didn't mean for this particular thread to be just for me, but something of a collection, that would eventually be benefitual to all users.
