I got my cold cath tube and want to install it in the computer. My problem is the instructions were printed way too small on the box. I have it hooked up properly to the power inverter, but I'm not sure I have it plugged in properly to its power toggle switch.

I read that the power toggle switch is actually optional and I can just plug it directly into a regular molex power cable. Is this so?

At some point you have to use a molex power plug to power up the cc tube. So I'd think you're correct in your assumption. Wish more info was available though.

Meh, the stupid thing doesn't work. I think I have it plugged in right. I didn't bother with the power switch. So I wonder if I might have something plugged in upsidedown, though that's highly unlikely, or if the plug is defective.
