codec problems

    I just finished installing realplayer 8, after having so much trouble with realone player.....my WMP is ******* due to an internal application error, now i cant view any videos i download due to a mp43 codec missing error.. I found on window site in a toolkit and tried the install, didnt do a thing......i think i need a hammer

    two tips:

    .u can download "real one player" witch is the latest of the realplayers and it's free.

    .windows media player sometimes can't access certain codecs (i don't exactly know why) but i use microdvd 1.2 (witch is also free) this fixes the problem, and it's also good if u want to use subtitles.
