    Hi
btw i had forgot about you!! thanks for the reminder e-mail

I've tried running call of duty 4 and other 3D games with Vista Ultimate 64bit, however after 5 mins or less of running these games the pc shuts down, its fine when running on desktop using internet and such but not when running 3d accelerated games. I'm thinking it could be my GFX driver, i run a nvidia GTX 285 on 182.06 the driver that came with the Card.

do you have any ideas on a solution, or, maybe recommend a different driver?

I would be most grateful if anyone help

Well, you could update the driver from here, Option 2 as your's is well past it's use by date, but ...
sounds more like an overheating problem, possibly a flakey/inadequate PSU.

Download SIW and check out your temps/voltages - Hardware > Sensors.

I wouls also check that your PSU is man enough .....
