I require to turn off a cmd entry, access is shown as denied. How can I obtain permission?

One way to get to an elevated cmd prompt is to click Start, type in "cmd" (without the quotes), right-click the "cmd.exe" you'll see up at the top and select "Run as Administrator ".

SpywareDr, many thanks for your prompt reply. Carried out suggestion, now able to use the "cmd" input as required. Thanks again.
