    Hi all,
I used PC Inspector File Recovery to recover data from an internal hard drive.
It recovered 15,210 files (21Gb worth) which I have saved to an external hard drive. All of the filenames start with cluster then a number then the extension. They are all 1,472Kb in size. None of them will open even though they have valid extensions (.exe,.jpg etc). I am at a loss what to do next with these clusters and PC Inspector File Recovery help doesn't give any suggestions. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
    Thanks in advance.
    Andy

I've used the program before and was able to open many recoverd files and many were too fragmented and could not be opened. If you recovered 21 GB of files then some of them for sure can be opened, unless the disk was so fragmented to begin with, or the disk had corrupted unreadable clusters.
