I have been trying to find info on clustering pc's on a LAN network with a switch. So far it looks like only linux caters for this app. I'm running windows xp on 4 x p4 pc's. All I realy want to achieve is better performance for FSX which was,by the looks of it, designed to force users to upgrade their hardware. If this could be possible one could achieve faster prosessing speeds for almost any application and reduce hardware upgrade intervals dramaticaly.

    Hello jj2512,

I've moved your thread here to Networking and added to your thread title to make clear your question.

The Networking people will look at it.

    Regards - Charles

Clustering on a LAN refers to creating a farm of file servers.

In any case, there is nothing LAN related you can do to increase the fps or other aspects of FSX.
