Clearing Second hand computer Administrator

I bought a secong hand computer with XP, But i can't seem to get the previouse owners name cleared COMPLETLY OUT of the PC. Is there any way to do this and also so it names me as Administrator and not the previouse person?

 

There are a couple of ways:

1. Edit the Registry.

2. Reinstall the system cleanly.

Neither is for the faint of heart or even a brave beginner. Get someone to help with the Registry editing and it'll be a piece of cake. That assumes the system is performing well otherwise. If not, consider the clean install method.
