    Hi All,
How do you clear the information that appears (type ahead) when you begin typing info at, say, a search engine? It seems to store previous words that were typed in.

    Thanks,
    RC

On the first search window, click on "Change Preferences" and on the list you get, click on "Turn Auto Complete off. "

Ooops, sorry...misread your post and thought you were referring to the auto-complete on the Windows Search feature.

To turn auto-complete off in Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Content tab>Auto Complete button and uncheck the appropriate boxes.
