I'm trying to find a way to remove unnecessary and never used notifications from my Taskbar.
Customizing the Taskbar is nice to hide or show icons in the system tray but I want all the items listed as Past Items to be deleted.
Why have them there when you don't use them or even the programs don't even exist anymore on the computer?
There is no Delete option for those Past Items.

I'm sure those unnecessary items are still somewhere where they can be removed.
I tried Regedit and found nothing though.

Start\Run\regedit\HK_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify. Delete Iconstreams and PastIconstreams. Exit the registry. Right Click on the taskbar select Taskmanager. Go to processes Hightlight Explorer.exe click end processes OK. You will get a warning just click yes. While in taskmanager go file New Task(Run) type in explorer click OK. Restart your computer.
