[Inactive] Chrome and IE not working, Firefox no images and hijacking

Hi my dad asked me to fix his computer and I'm having no luck. I ran mbam and it didnt find anything. Then I tried avast! and combofix both of which found stuff but symptoms didn't change. I also ran hijackThis but I have no clue how to use it.

Internet explorer is now working as is chrome, and firefox hasnt been getting hijacked, but it still isnt displaying images, not sure if thats because of a virus or because my dad messed with some setting that i can't find. As for the p2p programs, I told my dad it wasn't a good idea, hopefully this will get him to change his mind, but it isn't my computer so I can't really get him to do anything.
