   My brother just got a new Gateway, Win 7 computer. What is the difference between going through the backup process using the Gateway recovery system in start, or going to control panel and using the Win 7 process? Is one better or more advised than the other? thanks

   Gateway recovery -> this option probably resets the pc back to it's original new state.
   
   The other option backs up files.
