    Brand is "Ui Mobile "

the software comes on a mini-dvd.
The Win 7 computer would not recognize the dvd.
The XP computer recognized it and installed it.

The instructions say that when you plug in the USB cable to the PC you should find a drive labeled "U disc" in My Computer.

No such drive could be found

the XP computer did not recognize the USB connection or the device

When I plugged the camera-watch into the USB port of the Win 7, it said the port had experienced a power surge and that I should disconnect the device and click Reset. Otherwise I would not be able to use the USB port again.

Is this problem solvable so that I can use the camera-watch?

You are supposed to be able to take video or still photo with this wrist watch. I was testing it when these things occurred. The software won't function and the device is not recognized through the USB port.

You plug a long thin needle shaped plug into the camera and the other end of the cord into the USB port of the PC.

I stopped using WOT because of too many false positives.

Searching on "Ui Mobile camera watch" only shows uimobile.com with a "not enough ratings for this site "...

UiMobile is a chinese company offering many many video camera watches.

This product is sold through the Sears website and you can order it and pay at Sears stories. Sears is a huge well-known department store chain in the USA.

It would be nice to be able to get the thing working on Win 7.

the manual says it's compatible up through XP, not 7.

I tried it on the Win 7 machine first hoping that Microsoft would have made Win 7 backward compatible.

then when I saw it was not, I went to the XP.

I can see STK03NM.exe running in Task Manager. I am pretty sure this file is from the mini dvd. It is said to be from Syntek Corp.

I have attempted to contact UiMobile. They have not contacted me. I have sent the item back but I hold out little hope of being refunded. The company has a bad reputation.

The software is supposed to compatible with XP and installed but the USB connection is not recognized and no driver appears in C drive. So there was no way to test the camera.

I returned the watch to a UiMobile address on the east coast with a request for a refund.

I have since bought another watch through DaftGadgets.com marketed through yahoo.

    http://www.daftgadgets.com/spy-watch-dvr-.html

    the software seems to work,
the USB cable from the watch is recognized,
and it works on Win 7 even though the manual says XP.
