Just installed Netscape 7.01. I like it but it seems that it still does not check for mail unless I launch the mail application. Is this correct or have not done something to make it work properly.
I checked the settings but they all appear right to me.

    Hi Greg B
Yes... unfortunate, but true. For convenience, go to .........
Preference| Apearance| put check marks in "Navigator" -and- "Mail and Newsgroup ". Now when you load Netscape, mail will auto-launch.

There is a backdoor trick. If your interested and you have N4.XX (?) still on your computer. It's one of the many magic tricks "Ramona" can provide.

    Thanks Dennis.
But what is the backdoor trick? I still have a version 4 on my computer so would love to give it a try.
