    Good morning all.

If this belongs somewhere else with a better name then please feel free to change.

I would like to suggest that users use something such as Mail Washer to pre-check their mail. It checks it right on the server but does not download it.
It also deletes right off the server.

I have been using it for quite sime time now. I checked and cleaned up my mail at 10PM last evening. I just checked again and had 15 items waiting. I checked my Wife's machine and she had almost as many.

I must agree with the use of Mailwasher. I've been using it for a couple of years now. However, there is one question I have. I can see the source and subject of the email but not the message.
If I read the message within Mailwasher, does it affect my system the same as if I had imported it into my email client.? That is, if there is an attached virus do I contract it that way? That would void the whole purpose of using Mailwasher.

Have I just been lucky doing that?

It seems safe to me to pre-view the contents of e-mails in Mailwasher.
The Mailwasher pre-view function, whether by double clicking on the message or by >e-mail >pre-view, downloads the mail in text mode only so that there is no possibility of fetching a virus or other nasty.
I've been using it from the beginning, and so far nothing evil has arrived!
