I know it doesn't look like this belongs here but everytime my wife tries to charge her mp3 player by using a free usb port on her computer, it knocks out her wireless connection. My house is wireless using Linksys and she has a wireless g network adaptor that gets kicked out when she plugs in the player. I know they are conflicting somehow but is there a fix?? Thanks for any help.. Ted.

sounds like a power drain. The mp3 player requires power to charge it, which comes via the usb port. The usb ports on the comp only have a set amount of power running to them and if plugin the mp3 device the power that was going to the wireless adapter is shifted to the mp3 player.

get yourself a powered usb hub. (gets its power from an elect outlet)
