When I put a music cd into my cd drive, it immediately opens Media Player and starts ripping music from it, when all I want to do is listen to the cd. I suspect my children have adjusted some setting. How do I adjust it back to where that box opens that asks me what I want to do?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Open My Computer and right click on the CD-Rom/DVD-Rom drive > Properties > Autoplay tab. You should be able to sort out the default action for music CD's there.

Go into Window Media Player's Options, found under Tools on the Menu bar, click on Rip Music tab, uncheck 'Rip Cd when inserted'.
