    Greetings, first post here...

I do a lot of sound recording and, except for rare occassions, I always record at 48 kHz Stereo. However, going through the process of changing the default "CD quality" (44 kHz Stereo) to my preference all the time is really irritating.

Is there any registry entry or something else that governs the default sampling format? Can I change it to 48 kHz forever? How?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

PS: Please feel free to move the topic if the board is inappropriate.
