Changing the boot choice timer

    When my system boots it gives me a choice of my normal WinXP or a safe option and waits 30 seconds for an entry I read a while ago of the file that changes that wait time but I lost the suggestion. I only need 5 seconds to make that choice.

    not sure why u've got the safe mode menu unless u want it but ... try start/run MSCONFIG and see the boot options on the boot.ini tab.
