    Hi,

I have a TDK external USB 2.0 DVD Recorder Drive and I was wondering if there is a way to change drive letters on it.

I originally had "I" assigned to it but after installing NAV 2007, this letter got changed to "F ".

I would like to change it back to "I ".

    Is there a way?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I discovered the way to change the drive letter.

You use Disk Management and go down to the bottom of the dialog box and scroll down to the CD-ROM drives and select the correct one to change it's drive letter.

You probably will have to assign a different drive letter to the drive and then reboot to clear the drive letter you want to re-use.

If you have a drive letter that you want to re-use, you have to reboot to clear that drive letter. This is noted in the Disk Management instructions.
The drive letter that you changed is still available until you reboot.
