once I've installed a program, is there a way of changing the installaton location?

(ie. moving a progam's location to a different drive or different folder)

I've realised that my computer is a bit cluttered and I want to tidy things up a bit :) but I don't have the original installation disks or exes for loads of programs.

    thanks!

I think there are some program$ that can do it. It's a bit risky since it has to change a ton of info in the registry.

do you know of any programs that could? I tried searching in google but all it came up with were links about how to change the directory during installation. DUH.
(i'm not experienced enough to do registry editing without a guide or a program)

System Mechanic claims "NEW Software Relocator easily moves programs to a new folder or drive on your system ". Your risk :D
