changing identity (or name displayed as)

    I would like to change the name displayed on my outgoing messages (where it says from:_________). I went to manage identities, but it didn't ask me enough questions. I have a title next to my name on the outgoing messages, and I want to drop the title. If anyone would like to help me figure it out, I could e-mail them so they could see what it looks like. regards, flatfoot.

    In OE, click on tools, accounts, mail, highlight the account you want to change, properties, general, user info. Change the name to what you want.

    Worked Exactly Right

    Thanks so much, that was exactly what I was looking for. I had started on a project that didn't pan out. The extra e-mail account from my local ISP still has a cool address "rockin@seark.net" and it is easy to remember. Definetly worth the $3 a month just to be cool. Thanks again for the quick and effective response.
