Changing Hard Drives

    Hi Guys, I have two computers one with more memory and faster than the other can I simply swop over the hard drives ? 2021-01-11.2.png 2021-01-11.png

    You will probably have a problem with Windows as MS will think that you OS has been installed on a different PC. May have to call them and tell them that one PC Crashed and you moved your HD to another PC. The foot prints will be different on the PC's is the problem.

    You have two different Motherboards and the drivers for the boards would need to be available.
    W10 is pretty good but I don't think it will be able to run the swapped drives - it may suggest/try a repair process.
    You can read the data if the drive is hooked up as an external drive.
