I changed my default fonts in XP by right clicking on the desktop, Properties, Appearance, Advanced; I then used the drop down list under Item to change all my fonts to the same style.

However, certain type still remains in the old font: specifically, 1. the type appearing in the little boxes on the taskbar, for each open window; 2. the type on the start menu for Programs, and all of the Programs sub-menus.

    Would someone help?

    Thanks

I changed all 'Item' fonts as well using the same method & those three areas remain in what I assume is the default font. (ariel?)

Everything including my start menu appear in my selected font but 'All Programs'; Programs; & its' sub-menus as well as the tabs in the task bar remain 'standard'.

    Perhaps they can't be changed?
