Changing computer name in registry

    I need to know how to change the name of the computer owner. I believe this is done in the registry but am not sure how to do it in the Win 95 environment. Thanks for any recommendations you may have. Unfortunatly the computer configuration does not allow me to use the run regedit. If it is to be used I must manually run it and am not familiar with the syntax of that.
