Anyone know how to do this? I've got a white background and don't like the white type. Just can't seem to locate where to do it.
I've looked all over appearance ... can't find the icon type.

    thanks

If you are using the Windows XP Style, you can't change the color but, if you switch over to Windows XP Classic, then you should be able to change the color of your font in the ICON column. Let us know if this worked or not.

    :)

You cannot do this even in Windows Classic - the font colour box is greyed out.

Just discoved something interesting. If you use the "lock icons in place" feature, it creates a blue box behind the words. Now I don't have white on white. Interesting. Blue box indicates that your icons are locked. (Right click on desktop, choose arrange icons and put a check mark in "lock icons in place. "

Thanks for posting that - Actually 'Lock Web Items in Place' - in Pro at least - somewhat misleading - no, very misleading :)

I agree. It doesn't lock them. But it does put a nice little blue box around the white letters.
