Changing CD player

    I have do CD-ROM devices, how do I configure to use the 2nd to play CDs?

    Depends on how recent your drives are. If fairly recent and using 80 wire ribbon cables (look finer than, say a floppy cable) then all you need to do is go into Device Manager > DVD/CD-ROM drives > expand by clicking on the + sign > right click on drive > Properties > Properties tab and check 'Enable digital audio ....'

    If the drives have 40 wire ribbon cables you will need to use the wire connector between the drive and your sound card or motherboard from the other drive. Whether or not your system will allow you to connect two drives to play audio - two cables, I don't know.
