I formatted my system and re-installed Windows XP Pro. During the process, I really goofed up. I typed in my name and spelled it wrong. Can it be changed without a complete format and re-install?
It shows up in Windows Explorer under the C drive, Documents and Settings. The first folder is "All Users" and right under it is the folder with the misspelled name.
I guess it doesn't really hurt anything, but it is kind of irritating to see your own name spelled wrong.
Is there any hope for me on this?
    Thanks.

Right click on the folder and select RENAME.

Then go into Control Panel->Users->Click on yourself and select "change my name "

I have tried that, but it tells me that it is a "Windows System Folder" and cannot be moved or re-named. I tried it again after reading your suggestion and got the same results.
    Thanks for the reply.

I think all that's necessary is to go through the control panel>user accounts thing Steve mentioned in his post.

Thanks Zander. I have tried that also, but the name is spelled right in that location.
    I appreciate the help.
