change screen res by user?

Hi, I would like to log into my wXPSP2 desktop, as another user, for the sole purpose of using a different monitor resolution, than the res I normally use. This is related to internet software that does not work properly at the monitor's normal 1280x1024 res. It does show properly at lower res. Is it possible to have a monitor resolution by user rather than by machine, and if so, how? Thanks.
