I need to change the motherboard in my PC (I will be using existing hard drive(s) video card etc) and I'm wondering does this mean that I will need to reinstall Windows XP Pro? I am guessing that Windows will refuse to work with a new m/b but just wanted to check.
    Thanks

You will need to install drivers for the new board and most likley reactivate windows, A clean install is best but a repair install should be fine.

As always if the oportunity still exists back up any data you may require before switching.
