I have tried this all the ways I know but can't make it work.

At present, my .jpg files open in Windos Photo Gallery and I want them to open in my graphics software (Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2).

I have tried right click 'Open with' - choose default program - Paint Shop Pro X2 and it shows a message "windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working ".

I have tried 'Associate a file type with a specific program' - select .jpg - change program - and an error message "Windows Explorer has stopped working" appears.

Right click on the file and 'Open with' - Paint Shop Pro X32 works but I want to change for all my .jpg files.

    Any clues?

Thanks for that! It worked a treat!
(I did try to find something like that with Google but obviously didn't have the right combination of words.)

I have bookmarked the page in case I find others that I need to fix!
    Thanks a million
