Resolved Change Default Start Page IE 10

    How do I change my IE 10 default start page to Google.com on Win 8? TIA

    In the same way as you would in any other version of IE .....

    Open IE

    Log onto Google.com

    Tools > Internet Options - General tab

    Home Page - Use Current and you're done :)

    If you're not seeing the Menu bar right click on a blank area to the right of the tabs and check Menu Bar.

    Thanks Pete,

    The tip about right-clicking the tool bar to get Tools, plus opening directly to Google, without opening IE 10 first, did the trick. If I open IE 10 first, then go to Google, it doesn't work.

    You're welcome :)

    I use Windows 8 like Windows 7 using Start8 - the Metro screen is buried! - that may explain the difference.
