    Hello,
I have software on my computer from my place of employment where I can do my timesheet and access company folders. My company made some changes and now require download of a certificate and acceptance. Well, I cannot download the certificate from FireFox (FF does not recognize). I had to go to IE to successfully download this certificate. Now I can only enter this site and the folders through IE.

My question: How can I have FF download and recognize this certificate, as this is the only web browser I prefer to use?

    Thanks,

    Jeane

    Jeane,

If there is an option for downloading the Certificate as a file, then select. Then open Firefox and go to:

Tools | Options | Advanced, and click on the "Security" tab
Next: Click on the "View Certificates" Tab, and then the "Import" Tab

Select the Certificate, and Firefox should import the file

Let us know if this works...

    Hi Ramona,

Thanks for responding. There are no certificates to "view ", so therefore I can't import. They were downloaded fine in IE, and I can get into the program in IE. How can I get FF to recognize and approve the certificate?

    Jeane,

So you are saying that there was no option to download the Certificate as a file?

Have you tried Exporting the Certificate from IE?

I have not tried exporting from IE. Can you tell me how to do that and where I export it to?

    Thanks again,

    Jeane

It is now working. I reinstalled the software, but had to download the certificate through IE. Then when I went to FF, a pop-up asked if I wanted to accept the certificate. I'm not that sure what really happened, but I am glad I can access the program from FF!

Thanks Ramona for your time -- you're the best.

    Jeane,

Looks like you deserve the credit! Do you mean by "software" that you reinstalled Firefox?

At any rate I'm glad that all is working...
