Does anyone know of a Registry Tweak (I guess) to force all dialogue boxes - like Excel Password boxes, Display Properties and folders opened from a desktop shortcut to position themselves centrally in the screen ?

I seem to recall that TweakitUI for Win95/98 had this facility - although I don't remember it working that well.

    TIA

I'm not sure (memory failing) but Tweaking Toolbox XP may do the job. I do know it does well with everything it offers to do.

Free trial version available. Just click on the "Windows-Help.NET" link at the top of the page, look toward the bottom of the page, and you'll find info on getting it for a trial.

Thanks, Newt, I'll give that a try.

Nah... that's either a function of your specific video card software, or an indication that you don't have the right video mode selected...
